ELF Bar changed their NAME to EBDesign due to lawsuit - PKEB

Shenzhen iMiracle Technology Co. Ltd., the world's largest manufacturer of disposables, has announced a rebranding of its Elfbar products to "EBDESIGN". The change comes as a result of a lawsuit filed by VPR Brands, which claims ownership of the "ELF" trademark for vaping items in the United States. Despite the difference in name between Elfbar and ELF, a preliminary injunction has been issued by Judge Aileen Cannon preventing the importation of Elfbar products.

The lawsuit also includes a cease and desist order for all master distributors in the United States, affecting not only the original BC5000 but also several other models, including TE5000, BC5000 Ultra, OS5000 Lost Mary, and Pod King Elf Bar XC 5000 (Pod King Collaboration). However, the New Funky Republic Ti7000 and the Lost Mary MO5000, intentionally manufactured with only the Elfbar logo, are not affected by the pending litigation.

iMiracle Technology Co. Ltd. has already rebranded all USA-bound products as EBDESIGN and will continue to litigate the use of the name Elfbar in the United States while still marketing its products globally as Elfbar. Consumers should be aware of potential counterfeit brands that may arise, utilizing the BC5000 and other EBDESIGN model numbers.

As the change takes place, it is important for consumers to note that most authentic EBDESIGN/Elfbar products will feature a hologram of the logo and a scannable barcode to ensure authenticity. Exceptions include the Funky Republic Ti7000 and the New Years Eve/Limited Editions of BC5000, which may not feature the hologram or scan code.

While Elfbar branded vapes will continue to be available until supplies are exhausted and retailers are not targeted by litigation, consumers will need to acclimate to the new EBDESIGN name. As such, it is crucial for them to remain mindful of the potential proliferation of counterfeit products and to exercise caution when purchasing vaping items.
